March 8, 2010: Groping
my way back toward my Sunday update schedule...hopefully I'm back on
track now. In the meantime, to make up for the lateness, here's the
most shocking chapter ever. The thirty-fourth chapter of "Tara" is up

February 23, 2010: Okay,
I'm back, and let's get this show back on the road! In the latest
chapter of "Tara", everybody yells at each other.

February 3, 2010: I
know, lateness--but I was felled by the head cold from hell. Constant
congestion headaches are very very bad for writing. But now I'm
back! With much Tylenol. In the latest chapter of "Tara", Faith kisses someone and I
guarantee you're gonna be surprised when you find out who. Also,
Tara talks to herself, and someone's
outta here like a bald man. (It makes sense when you say it.) Chapter thirty-two is

January 25, 2010: Sorry
this one's late, it's been an extremely hectic weekend. This chapter,
some new and very formidable vampires come to town...perhaps you've
heard of them. You think Evan's tough? Let's just say that the gang
might be going from the frying pan into the fire.

January 18, 2010: Another
late night...but the new chapter is here. See the sacrifices I
make for you people? Is Tara pissed at Faith? You betcha. The
thirtieth chapter of "Tara" is up on
the

page. (Oh, and by the way...this whole Angel is Twilight thing in the
Season 8 comics is really, really stupid. I would say the comics have
just jumped the shark but I think they started out already past the
shark. Right now the shark is dwindling in the rear view mirror.)
January 11, 2010: Yes,
I stayed up late again but even though it's Monday it's still
Sunday because Sunday doesn't end until I go to bed damn it! Plus this
chapter's about twice the size of the past few chapters so you're
getting twice the thrills and chills (and sex, because Nina gets
some. Nina always gets some.) And a certain lost little girl makes a
special appearance and she isn't annoying. And someone gets their heart
broken, alas. All in chapter twenty-nine of "Tara", which is
up on
the
Stories page. And now I'm going to bed
!
January 4, 2010: Wow...it's
2010. I am so old. Yes, I stayed up extremely late tonight but never
fear, the new chapter is here. And things happen. Forward momentum is
once again being achieved. The twenty-eighth chapter of "Tara" is up on

December 28, 2009: The twenty-seventh chapter of "Tara" is up on the

December 21, 2009: Okay,
so here's how these things generally go: I finish a chapter sometime on
Sunday and then I re-read it a couple times to weed out all the typos
and the occasional dumb bits that seemed like a good idea at the time
but then turned out not to be and then when I'm satisfied I put
the chapter up, either Sunday night or the wee hours of Monday which
still count as Sunday because I haven't gone to bed yet (such as tonight.) And then on
Monday morning at work I go to my website and read the chapter online
and find
five-million typos.
And then I re-edit the thing. How do I miss these typos when I proofread on Sunday night? No idea.
Here's hoping I caught them this time so you guys can have the final version of the chapter right now instead
of some penultimate typo-filled version that I'll be feverishly re-editing at work tomorrow. Anyway, the
twenty-sixth and hopefully typo-less chapter of "Tara" is up on the
Stories
page. And you're all going to find out something about Tara and it will
be shocking. (And by the way, why doesn't anyone e-mail me anymore? I'm
rather depressed about that, I'll have you all know.
)

November 1, 2009: The nineteenth chapter of "Tara" is up on the

October 25, 2009: The eighteenth chapter of
"Tara" is up on the

and it introduces a new character you'll be seeing a lot of (because
it's been like twenty minutes since I introduced yet another of my new
characters and I was getting restless.) Her name is Grace. Let's
just say she's...unique. (And gay! Because everybody is! Hey, if things
can go wrong in "Dollhouse" every single week and no one ever calls it
a plot hole, all my characters can be gay if I want.)
October 18, 2009: As promised, updates every week by Sunday. The seventeenth chapter of

October 9, 2009: I
must write these chapters faster. Faster! Faster! (And probably a wee
bit shorter, which will help with the faster. Chapters should be
chapters after all, not novellas.) From now on I proclaim: story
updates wll arrive WEEKLY! (Or how about...every week by Sunday night
at the latest.) Let it be done--starting right now! The sixteenth
